Why I Do This Work
For over 30 years, I’ve been devoted to growing people—leaders, teams, and men who are ready to do the hard work of transformation.
My journey began in environments where leadership was often defined by authority, not accountability. I saw firsthand how misaligned cultures—at work, in relationships, and within ourselves—erode trust and stunt growth. That’s when I began asking deeper questions:
What causes people to follow? What builds cultures where people want to do better, not just have to?
That search led me to develop a leadership philosophy rooted in trust, truth-telling, and behavioral integrity. My work today is less about titles and more about behavior—how we show up, how we’re experienced, and how we grow from every interaction.
I work with leaders, teams, and individuals who are ready to stop performing leadership and start embodying it—through active learning, through intentionally growing the right culture, and through getting others to choose to follow.
My approach is grounded in:
✔ Leadership & Culture – Helping organizations and individuals build cultures that reward the behaviors they say they value.
✔ Learning from Horses – helping leaders communicate with such clarity and conviction that a deeper level of trust results, because horses (and people) only follow when they trust you.
✔ Rules of Engagement for Teams – Equipping teams and team members with skills for personal accountability and for policing the team themselves.
✔ Legacy Leadership – Guiding people to lead in ways that outlive them, whether they’re building a business, a family, or a movement.
I believe leadership is not about being in charge—it’s about being worthy of trust. No matter who you are, no matter your role, if you desire to grow into the leader that others choose to follow, let’s begin.
